Draycott Community Primary School set out to create a safe, versatile outdoor space usable year-round by pupils, parents and staff. They needed a robust, weather-resistant shelter that offered reliable protection and suited the site’s layout. 

William Booth Primary and Nursery School in Nottingham wanted a safe, versatile outdoor area for pupils. They needed a sturdy, weather-resistant shelter to allow year-round play and learning. For added safety, padded post protectors were included for younger children, while the design also blended with the school surroundings.

Pipers Corner School required a practical shelter solution that would provide a large covered area, enabling children to continue playing outdoors in all weather conditions.

Beverley Grammar School in East Yorkshire required a large, durable, and weather-resistant shelter to enhance the school’s outdoor facilities. The school needed a versatile solution to provide all-weather protection and create a more functional outdoor space for students and staff.

West Leigh Infant School faced challenges with unpredictable weather, limiting outdoor play and learning. A durable, weather resistant shelter was essential to create a safe, covered space for students, enabling outdoor activities in all conditions. The shelter also needed to provide a comfortable waiting area for parents and visitors.

Sir James Smith’s Community School in Cornwall was looking for the perfect partner to design and install two bespoke shelters to improve the functionality of their outdoor spaces. The school’s aim was to create sheltered areas for year-round use, enabling students and staff to make better use of the outdoor quadrants.

Woodlands Infant & Nursery School approached NBB with a unique requirement: to create three individual sheltered areas outside their classrooms, providing pupils and parents with year-round weather protection during drop-off and pick-up.

After the successful installation of a custom shelter at The Atsam Academy London, NBB Outdoors was approached once again to collaborate with The Khalsa Academies Trust in creating a bespoke shelter solution, this time for The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton. 

Sir James Smith Community School recently contacted NBB in need of a shelter for their outdoor recreation space. After liaising with our surveyors, it was decided that a bespoke Winterbourne freestanding shelter with guttering would fit the space best.

Oaklands Infant School needed an old wall-attached canopy removed from their school and replaced with a new shelter to provide cover over an entrance. They contacted NBB and it was agreed that a bespoke freestanding Branksome shelter would be the best fit for the space.

King Edward VI Northfield School For Girls, a distinguished educational institution, presented NBB Outdoors with a clear projectbrief aimed at enhancing their outdoor seating areas within a recreational courtyard.

Childwall Sports & Science Academy, a returning happy customer of NBB Outdoors, sought to further enhance thier campus infrastructure by installing a bespoke walkaway between building entrances, to protect students and staff from adverse weather conditions such as rain, wind and snow.

The Coombes CE Primary School engaged NBB Outdoors with a specific project brief aimed at improving the functionality and aestetics of their school grounds.

NBB was contacted by Atam Academy as they needed a large shelter to provide cover for an outdoor learning area.

Forest Row Church of England Primary School is a rural village school located near Ashdown Forest in the county of East Sussex. Their vision is to provide all children with a safe and supportive environment in which they can learn, develop, and be the best they can be.

Mildenhall College Academy, a prominent educational institution situated in Bury Saint Edmunds, engaged NBB Outdoors after identifying the need for a bespoke shelter to accommodate various outdoor activities and events for its students. 

St. Mark’s Primary School approached NBB Outdoors with the goal of expanding the sheltered area available to their students and staff. The school recognised the need for additional covered space to better support outdoor learning, recreational activities, and events in all weather conditions.

Chorley St James CE Primary School reached out to NBB Outdoors with the specific requirement to create a sheltered area that not only provided functionality but also featured a modern aesthetic that seamlessly integrated with the existing school building. 

Our site surveyors were pleased to visit the site on several occasions to fully understand the clients requirements and to develop a detailed plan with the school.

The School had recently contacted NBB in need of a cycle shelter to help enable and encourage more of their students to cycle to school, whilst also protecting the bikes from theft and adverse weather conditions.

Hodge Hill Girls School approached NBB Outdoors to collaborate on the installation of a new cycle compound on its premises.

Bournemouth University is a longstanding customer of NBB Outdoors, and when they approached us with their latest project we were delighted to assist with a solution.

NBB School Shelters were contacted by Highcliffe School to provide an estimate for two shelters. We recommended two bespoke Winterbourne Wall Attached structures.

Turney School is specifically for children and young people aged from 5-19 years of age with Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated learning difficulties.

Our site surveyors visited the school several times to discuss the various options and they decided on a total of 7 bespoke Winterbourne Freestanding Shelters and opted for the colour Blue RAL 5002 to fit in with the existing area.
